Pipe Ceremony

On August 13, 2019 a Pipe ceremony was held along the new right-of-way just south of Anola, Manitoba. Elders and Pipe Carriers Dave Daniels, Grant Manningway and Darryl Taylor led a beautiful ceremony with many in attendance. Elders and community members from across southern Manitoba attended. The site of the ceremony was located near the end of the existing right-of-way and the beginning of the new right-of-way. The walk to the site was lovely as the weather was warm and sunny. The group shared sandwiches and cookies afterwards.
